The Great Divide Out 28th January 2008
Jan 2008
With some good press appearing in the, um, press, we thought it prudent to let you have a listen to our forthcoming single, The Great Divide. Check it out on our myspace page...
The version we have posted for your listening pleasure is the radio edit - a slightly shorter, more radio-friendly version, which will hopefully persuade numerous DJs up and down the country to belt it out on their shows. Which is I'm sure exactly what will happen.
It's out on January 28th 2008 with A Burial on the B Side and a free downloadable track , Underwater Congregation, thrown in for good measure. There's a massive party at The Islington Bar Academy on Saturday 26th January to celebrate its launch and we'll give you more details closer to the time.
Happy listening,
Nebraska x

ARTROCKER MAGAZINE

Happy Easter and all that,
While you are all getting over the chocolate and alcohol related binges undertaken over the Easter weekend may we recommend a spot of light reading whilst your head recovers?Nebraska are featured in the current edition of Artrocker Magazine, and a very positive piece it is too. We were interviewed before one of our Spring Break! shows last month at The Fox in Lewisham and a rather fetching pic of Michael adorns the page that is devoted to us. See www.artrocker.com for a list of shops who sell the mag - Kings of Leon are on the cover.

How do
Thought it time to send a brief report from the front line, the avant garde of Spring Break if you will.
Well, Aberyswyth saw Spring well and truly broken, in several unpleasant places. Aber is a fine place but a looooong way away from where we now live in London, which means that by the time we arrived for their uni's festival a mixture of cabin fever and some ad hoc in-car drinking left us feeling slightly bouncy. Dexy in particular was a cross between Tigger and Zebedee. His solo set before we all played was brilliantly teetering on the edge with a mixture of raw passion, craftmanship, free booze and spontaneous stage invasions. Top stuff.

Welcome to Nebraska's 'Spring Break!' Tour Diary!
Hi people of cyber inter-world,
How's tricks? Been out and about? Enjoying the fine weather? Probably not if your reading this. Fear not, it'll be boiling hot for months pretty soon.
And so on to news of our 'Spring Break!' tour! Well, theres only been a couple of dates but so far so good. New songs are going down well, old songs are getting the odd re-working and, thank god, we still refuse to do any serious covers. We've been opening our sets with 'First Russian Winter' which we've not done for a while...I really missed that song.

Suitable salutations,
After our foray into Welsh territory last week we have been invited back at the (almost) last minute to play once more in the fine principality. Like a nervous child approaching the sea, we are dipping our toe a little further this time, heading as we are to The Hard Rock Cafe in Cardiff.
